Monalisa Chinda had been married to Dejo Richard, who owns the Question Mark Entertainment. Their marriage which was largely out of the public eye, ended in 2012, barely five years after they became legally married.
Speaking then about the reason for her separating from Dejo Richard, Monalisa Chinda vaguely attributed it to incompatibility between them. She explained that they both disagree on several occasions and on issues that shape their marriage; hence, her decision to file for a divorce through her lawyer, Festus Keyamo.
The marriage between Dejo Richard and Monalisa Chinda produced a girl child, Tamar Lily.
Though Monalisa Chinda did not accuse her ex-husband, Dejo Richard of domestic violence before or after their separation, but speculations in the public domain have it that she suffered violence in the hands of Dejo Richard.
The actress did state that she will never speak ill of Dejo Richard even after their divorce due to her African heritage as well as respect for her daughter, Tamar Lily whom she had with him.
Monalisa Chinda remarried a few years after her divorce. She got married to Victor Coker, whom the media describe as a “mystery man” due to his private life. A little is known about Victor Coker, Monalisa Chinda current husband; both have been living happily without any form of scandal in the public sphere.
The actress while speaking about her marriage to Victor Coker, cheerfully declared that she has “found peace”; something presumably different from her previous marriage.
Due to their marriage being so private, it’s unknown publicly if the couple: Monalisa Chinda and Victor Coker have had children.
Monalisa Chinda had attributed her remarrying to her daughter, Tamar Lily whom she had with Dejo Richard. According to her, she married Victor Coker in place of her former husband due to her resolve to give her daughter a father. According to her, she wanted her daughter to grow around a father figure; a man she would know and look up to as her biological father irrespective.

She described her love for her husband, Victor Coker as happening naturally, enduring and peaceful.
