Stellar afro hip hop singer, Tiwatope Savage Balogun widely known as Tiwa Savage has given insight into why she decided to freeze her ovaries so that it stopped producing monthly eggs.
The mother of one, previously married to Teebillz, while speaking recently in an interview with Zeze Mills, explained that her freezing her eggs gives her the opportunity to have control over her reproductive system especially as she aims to have another child in the future.
The singer who is 42 at present had her one and only child in 2015 at 34, advised women who have reached the age of 30 to consider freezing their eggs to put them in better position of having a child when they would desire to do so in the future.
Tiwa Savage in same interview, highlighted how she was able to pull through her s3x scandal as well as the death of her father, describing it as the most difficult time in her life.
Recall that in 2021, Tiwa Savage faced a near career-ending scandal when her s3x tape was leaked online by a mysterious person. Before the video was leaked, the singer had told the public about an unnamed person who was extorting and blackmailing her over her private video. She disclosed that she refused to yield to the blackmailers outrageous demands and that he threaded to release the said video to the public and which he later did.
Despite speculation about her reconciling with ex husband, Teebillz, Tiwa Savage suggested that the speculations were wrong. She pointed out that she is not currently in any serious relationship but considering going into one in the future. Though she said such relationship will not be determined by love but the financial strength of her partner as she would no longer be involved in a relationship with men who lack the means to spoil her with luxuries.
