Controversial prophet Ayodele Elijah Ayodele, the founder of the INRI evangelical spiritual church, has warned president Bola Ahmed Tinubu over 2027 presidential election.
In a video posted on his Facebook page, primate Elijah Ayodele claims that the odds at present, are not in favour of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu against what he is being told by his allies and inner circle.
He claims that a potential defeat steer the president in the face if he fails to make amends and change his now failing strategy.
Primate Elijah Ayodele explained that a powerful force would sweep off the feet of the president in comings days and that the powerful force will defeat the president in 2027.
Advising the president, primate Elijah Ayodele pointed out that the northern Nigerians are discontent with the president’s leadership and that he has not been able to effectively manage the situation which is the cause of his growing unpopularity among the northerners. He claims that president Bola Ahmed Tinubu rather than listen to the concerns of the northerners is interested in pacifying them and pleading with them.
He encouraged the president not to disregard his counsel and to immediately address the concerns of the northerners by initiating prominent projects in the region amid their cries of neglect by his administration.
He stated that the president must be intentional about the projects and should not make it a gimmick to get their support for reelection.
He added that the northern politicians who have promised to secure votes for the president in the northern region, is misleading the president by hiding the reality from him.
According to him, some of those northern politicians who pose as the president’s allies will likely work against the president in 2027 by aligning with the said oncoming “powerful force”. Hence, the president must re-strategize but focusing on providing actual governance to the people.
Primate Elijah Ayodele’s acclaimed claimed prophetic warning to president Tinubu comes a few hours after report emerged about former president Goodluck Jonathan joining the coalition party, African Democratic Congress (ADC).
According to reports, an unnamed source close to Goodluck Jonathan confirmed that the former president is considering entering the 2027 presidential race against Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The former president who is constitutionally entitled to a one tenure is widely considered a viable and veritable alternative to president Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
However, the former president who has not openly confirmed or debunked the report about his 2027 presidential ambition, had previously stated his disinterest in the presidential seat.
Prior to the 2023 general elections, it was reported that former president was favoured by the leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) to succeed late president Muhammadu Buhari. He was pictured severally with the then national chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Adamu.
Also, report emerged that the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association purchased the APC 2023 presidential form for the former president while persuading him to make a return to the presidency. The report was latter debunked despite photos of the members of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association with the said presidential primary election form being circulated online.
