Eighteen year old afro hip hop Nigerian, songwriter, dancer and singer, Qing Madi whose real name is Chimamanda Pearl Chukwuma has plunged her fans and followers into desperation by her recent remark on Instagram handle.
Qing Madi created tension when she disclosed through her Instagram handle that her privacy has been infringed upon. She appealed to the public to understand her plight while also feeling sorry for her disappointing them.
She added that she needs the emotional support of her fans to pull through her current condition which she described as a ” horrible reality”.
While the singer has maintained a descent public image since her rise to stardom, it’s being insinuated that the singer might be facing threats of blackmail from someone close to her as she implied in her statement: “I don’t know how my private life got leaked…”
Speculations have it that the singer might be referring to her s3x video potentially being leaked; however, her lack of precision has left her fans only speculating. While some demanded she clarifies her vague statement, others encouraged her, urging her to take some time off social media to care for herself.
About Qing Madi
Qing Madi started her music career as a dancer and songwriter but would later switch to singing immediately she and her parents relocated from Benin city in Edo state to Lagos State. She disclosed in an interview that she is the last child of four and hails from Delta State, Nigeria.
She had developed her singing and dancing during her secondary school days and membership in her church choir.
Her songwriting ability earned her opportunities which included writing songs for top musicians such as Larry Gaga, Skales, and Iyanya even before she came to limelight in 2022 through her song: “see finish” which became viral.
The talented singer would later choose to venture into singing and not just song writing. She disclosed in her recent interview that “see finish” which is her breakthrough release in 2022 was a major surprise for her and family.
The singer has subsequently continued to improve her sensational career. In 2023, she earned Spotify Africa Equal Ambassador, evidence of her growing prominence in the music industry. In the same year, she collaborated with Boju on his hit track: “Ole”.
Qing Madi New Songs
The singer in 2025 released what will be regarded as her first album titled: “I am the Blueprint”, comprising songs that reflects her genre blending and story telling ability. The album which appeals to global audience, revolves around love, growth, resilience, and choice .
