How Wife Of Bamidele Akingboye Reportedly K!lled Him
The news of the death of Bamidele Akingboye, the Social Democratic Party (SPD) governorship candidate in the Ondo State November 14th, 2024 gubernatorial election, took many aback especially as there were no report of the business tycoon cum politician being ill.
Following his sudden death, report by a prominent local Nigerian online newspaper, Sahara Reporters, claim that Bamidele Akingboye was mvrdered by one of his wives in his Lagos home.
According to the report, Bamidele Akingboye was pushed from the balcony of his home in Victoria Garden City (VGC) in Lagos which resulted in his falling to his death. The report claims that he was having a heated argument with one of his wives who then pushed him to fall to his death.
Social media speculations about his sudden death claim that the politician’s remains had bruises and injuries on his head and neck which gives credence to his suffering domestic violence before his death.
However, the report failed to mention the particular wife of deceased politician who allegedly committed the act.
Confirming his death, his media assistant, Oyeniyi Iwakun while describing the deceased politician as a man of integrity known for his philanthropy, disclosed that the date for the burial of his remains will be communicated to the general public.
Bamidele Akingboye before his death, was the CEO of Maritime, Clog Oil Systems as well as the President of West Africa Group. He was one of the forefront contestants in the Ondo state 2024 governorship election.
Another social media speculation has it that outrageous amount of money have been transferred from the deceased bank accounts to another bank accounts belonging to one of his wives and also to one of his unnamed sons.
Reacting to his sudden death, the governor of Ondo state, Lucky Aiyedatiwa described him as a man with good heart whose death is a great loss to the people of Ondo state and Nigeria at large.
The Nigeria Police Force authority have revealed that the death of the prominent politician will be thoroughly investigated. The police force warn of any desperate attempt to cover up the actual cause of the deceased death.
